Montreal filmmakers Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski spent more than five years on this movie. Portrait artist Jason Walker created the technique of adding composited human eyes to the stop motion puppets. The film won the Canal + Grand Prize for best short film.
Director Jiri Barta uses object animation to tell of the discovery that there was once a universe peopled by gloves which lived a very human-like existence. Actual gloves were used containing an armature so that they could be animated as 3D puppets.
