Savage Bees – The Dancing Laddie (1987)
This remarkable animation was scratched directly onto 16mm black film leader by animator Ros Allen. It took six months and a seized neck to make. It was shown at Annecy ’89 and licensed to Channel 4 about the same year who screened it twice. Ros is currently teaching animation to degree level at Sunderland University.
