The adventures and misfortunes of Demódoco, a projectionist, who discovers by chance a one-of-a-kind way to get pleasure. However, abusing it leads to risky consequences. It was produced by Trexel Animation, Buenos Aires, Argentina, without any budget in the free time available during the studio´s commercial projects. Script, design and animation by Gervasio Rodríguez Traverso and Pablo Alberto Díaz.


Howl by Natalie Bettelheim (2011)

A mother become worried when her toddler starts acting like a cat. It is a really beautiful and precise atmospheric story. It was directed and designed by Natalie Bettelheim with animation by Sharon Michaeli. A graduation film produced at the Department of Screen-Based Arts in Bezalel, Jerusalem.

The film follows a lonely girl living atop a flying whale whose luck changes when a stranger drops out of the sky. Models, rigging and texturing by Ben Casey with story, animation and cinematography by Matthew Smart. It was produced at the University of Hertfordshire, UK.


Prepare for the Science Fair by Kevin Temmer (2011)

Kevin Temmer recently graduated from the International Baccalaureate program at Land O’ Lakes High School in Florida. As part of the community outreach program, Kevin created this video to inform students about the science fair. Kevin will be attending the Ringling College of Art and Design as a computer animation major this fall.


Left-brained Larry & Right-brained Rachel by Sally Ward (2009)

This is the tale of Left-brained Larry & Right-brained Rachel, a Siamese twin couple, stuck together by the head and thus resulting in them sharing only one brain. It was written and directed by Sally Andersen Ward and produced by Niels Michael Wee at the European Film College in Denmark.

There are really eye catching backgrounds and colors in this video featuring the music of French group Les Mains Ensorcelées (The Bewitched Hands). It was directed by Sanghon Kim at Machine Molle for Savoir Faire.


The Lighthouse Keeper by David François (2009)

An atmospheric story with superb lighting effects as the lighthouse keeper fends off a giant firefly. It was made at the l’école des Gobelins, France by Baptiste rogron, Rony Hotin, Maïlys Vallade, Jérémie Moreau, Gaëlle Thierry and David François. The Lighthouse Keeper was awarded best graduation film at Annecy 2010.


Jean-Luc by Julien Daubas (2010)

The style of this video is reminiscent of Tex Avery, with frantic action and sexual innuendo. It was made at the l’école des Gobelins, France by Julien Daubas, Fabien Guillaume, Jérémy Macedo, Jean-Baptiste Maligne, Paul Nivet and Arthur Peltzer with the aid of Ugo Bienvenu.
