Nominated for an Oscar in this year’s Academy Awards Short Film (Animated) category, The Gruffalo was directed by Jakob Schuh and Max Lang. Backgrounds were filmed at Studio Soi in Ludwigsburg, Germany and the characters were created with computer animation. This video looks behind the scenes at how the classic Children’s picture book “The Gruffalo” was brought to life.
